St. John’s Episcopal School has been approved by the State of Texas as a private school eligible to receive TEFA funds. Families who are awarded TEFA funding may use those funds toward St. John’s tuition once accounts are active. Anyone may apply, but submitting an application does not guarantee funding. Awards are distributed based on eligibility and priority categories established by the state of Texas.
The TEFA application window is only open from February 4 - March 17, 2026 for the 2026–2027 school year. Applications will be submitted directly through the State of Texas TEFA portal found at https://educationfreedom.texas.gov/.
