Tuition Assistance

At St. John’s, we believe every child should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing Christ-centered community. In keeping with our mission and Episcopal identity, we are committed to making a St. John’s education accessible to families from a variety of financial backgrounds. We strive to partner with families so that financial circumstances do not become a barrier to a child’s education.

St. John’s offers both internal and external tuition assistance programs for eligible families.

Internal Tuition Assistance, administered by SJES, includes need-based financial aid, re-enrollment bonuses, military grants, and school-awarded scholarships. The maximum internal financial assistance awarded by the school is 50% of tuition.

External Tuition Assistance is administered through outside programs and may include Texas Education Freedom Act (TEFA) funds and the ACE Scholarship. These resources may be used in addition to internal tuition assistance, with the possibility of full tuition remission.

Eligibility, availability, and award amounts are determined annually and are subject to program requirements and available funding.

Tuition Guard

Tuition becomes non-refundable once a family has signed the SJES Tuition Agreement. We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise during the school year that may require a family to make a mid-year move. While that is never what we hope for, we want our families to be prepared and supported in every way possible. That is why we require participation in the ISM’s Tuition Guard Plan. This plan provides financial protection by offering partial tuition reimbursement if a student must withdraw from SJES before the end of the school year.

Detailed information about ISM’s Tuition Guard Plan is available here.
