Students in EPK through the fifth grade receive Computer instruction weekly
as an enrichment class. The purpose of the computer program is to set
the foundation for a strong computer background. Students are taught proper
computer etiquette, keyboarding, and popular desktop applications, such
as word processing and spreadsheets. The fundamentals of the Internet
and browsing are also covered (2nd - 5th).
St. John's computer program builds on the students' prior knowledge from
year to year. However, for a new student entering St. John's, the information
learned is not a prerequisite to having a successful year.
